The Wall of Champions for SM for MSMEs celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship in the Philippines

The micro, small, and medium businesses (MSMEs) Champions' Wall, a visual monument to the tenacity, commitment, and excellence of the nation's 17,000 MSMEs, was proudly launched by SM Supermalls as part of a vibrant celebration of Filipino entrepreneurship.  The spectacular event, which was hosted at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA), brought together esteemed guests to honor the 2024 Presidential Awardees for MSMEs and recognize their significant contributions to the corporate landscape of the country..


A symbol of innovation and perseverance

The MSME Champions' Wall represents the path of Filipino business owners who have persevered in thriving in the face of adversity and is a testament to their inventiveness and tenacity.  The installation, which combines storytelling and art, highlights the various industries and success stories that make up the MSME sector.

Honoring the 2024 Presidential Awardees

Alongside the distinguished recipients, prominent figures from the business sector, SM Supermalls executives, and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) graced the event.  Executive Vice President for Marketing of SM Supermalls, Jonjon San Agustin, highlighted in his introductory remarks the significance of offering MSMEs growth platforms, saying, “This wall is more than just an installation; it reflects the relentless spirit of Filipino entrepreneurs who drive economic growth and inspire innovation.”


The Medium Enterprise Awardee, Malagos Chocolate, offers award-winning Philippine-grown cacao.


The official announcement of the 2024 Presidential Awardees for MSMEs, people, and companies who have excelled in performance, innovation, and community impact was the event's high point.  Each recipient discussed their experience, highlighting the critical role MSMEs play in national development, industry expansion, and job creation.


The small enterprise finalist, Aishe Fashion, crafts locally sourced espadrilles, empowering Persons with Disabilities (PWD) artisans.
