Given the increase in travelers at the airport and the security checkpoints along important routes leading to the airport, guests are advised to allow extra time—at least two hours for domestic flights and three hours for international ones.
Additionally, AirAsia advises its guests to strictly adhere to the nationwide election gun ban in accordance with the Commission on Elections' (COMELEC) directive. Visitors who would like to avoid this security process can check the requirements on the COMELEC website.
