On August 24, Enchanted Kingdom, the Philippines' first and only world-class theme park, hosted the 2024 Agilakas Gumalaw Dance Competition at the Spaceport Grounds as a magical tribute to our modern-day heroes.
The Agilakas Gumalaw Dance Competition is an annual event in EK that brings together talented dancers from across the country to showcase world-class Filipino talent. This year, ten (10) spectacular dance groups took the stage to demonstrate that "Pinoy, Magaling Ka!"
With their winning performance, the NU Dance Company from Sampaloc, Manila highlighted the rich, dynamic Filipino culture. The group won the grand prize and received Php 20,000, twenty (20) return passes to EK, and the opportunity to perform at one of EK's upcoming events.
NEW BREEDZ from Muntinlupa City and League of Monsters-Brothass from Calamba City, Laguna both won cash prizes and tickets, as well as the runner-up titles.
Rising P-Pop boy band sensation BILIB lit up the night with a captivating performance of their latest music as well as renditions of popular P-Pop hits. The show also featured its judges, G-Force member Myka Espina Gonzaga and internet personality Xai Smith, who turned up the heat by displaying their incredible dance moves on the EK stage.
This magical celebration was made even more magical with the following sponsors: Surf, Dove Deo, Minute Maid, Pretzels Stick Snacks, Australia’s Own, Hello! Chocolate, Nips, Krrrrunch, C2 Cool and Clean, White Flower, and Selecta.
BAYANI: LAGING HANDA
This August, EK will celebrate Buwan ng Wika by bringing back BAYANI, its original musical production featuring OPM songs performed by their own Cast Members. This year's musical tells the story of Joana Makabayan on her journey of self-discovery as she joins the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.
The musical will be performed every Friday and Sunday at 12:00 p.m. until September 15. And 2:00 p.m. at Eldar's Theatre.
MIDWAY MIRROR MAZE
Make more magical memories with your loved ones with EK's new attraction, the Midway Mirror Maze. Drop by the Midway Boardwalk and help Eldar the Wizard and Princess Madeline find Princess Victoria by threading your way through this thrilling labyrinth.
For only Php 150, guests will have exclusive access to this exciting and immersive adventure, complete with captivating lights and visuals at every turn. Students can also get a special ticket rate of Php 120, while senior citizens and people with disabilities can get one for only Php 107.14.
