SM's Shop&Share for Education Program Enriches the Lives lives of 12,000 Filipino students

Shop&Share for Education in Mandaue, Cebu together with SM Store JMall Team

The SM Store recently distributed back-to-school kits to 12,000 grade school students in over 70 public schools across the country, thanks to the support of its customers and in collaboration with SM Stationery (SSI), the SM Foundation, and World Vision. In Cebu, 1,350 students from Mandaue City Central School, Mandaue City SPED Central School, Opao Elementary School, and Umapad Elementary School received these necessary supplies. The turnover activity coincides with the upcoming opening of SM Store's 76th location in JMall Mandaue.

The relaunch of SM Store's Shop & Share for Education program allows customers to directly support underprivileged students by purchasing back-to-school supplies. For every minimum single-receipt purchase of PHP 3,000 at participating SM Stores, shoppers can contribute to a child's education by purchasing a school kit for only PHP 100.

As students begin a new academic year or continue their education, SM Store is committed to assisting them in achieving their goals. The program emphasizes the importance of social responsibility and offers shoppers an easy way to give back. A PHP 100 donation may appear small, but it has a significant impact on the lives of children in underserved communities. This initiative demonstrates that even small contributions, motivated by a spirit of giving, can have a significant impact.
