Vermosa furthers its aim to help PH Sports with the launch of its Athlete's House

“The formal inauguration of the Athlete’s House is a testament of Vermosa’s ongoing commitment to support Philippine sports and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for all.” ~Moses John (MJ) Aragones, Project Development Manager of Ayala Land Estates, Inc.

An Athlete's House, designed to enhance the training of elite national athletes preparing for national and international tournaments, has opened in the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite.

The 30-room athlete's lodging, erected on the large Sports Hub grounds of the 752-hectare Ayala Land estate, was officially launched on July 10, followed by the groundbreaking of the Athletics Center Dugout.

The Athlete's House is conveniently located near the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, which includes a FINA-standard Olympic-size swimming pool with a warm-up pool, an IAAF-certified 400-meter track oval, a multi-sport open field, an indoor fitness facility with a sports science laboratory, and one of the country's three FIFA-certified football pitches.

Our room arrangements cater to Filipino athletes searching for a comfortable and convenient training base, as well as families seeking an active break. The bathrooms offer a three-way function, which allows three people to use the shower, toilet, and vanity area at the same time. Other amenities include a marketplace, open bar, and lounge for guests' enjoyment. The nicest thing is that the training facility and gym are only a few meters away.

Meanwhile, the Athletics' Center Dugout is the last missing piece of the FIFA Certified football field, which will transform the AVSH grounds into a popular competition location for both professional and amateur leagues. It is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2025. The building includes changing rooms for teams, officials and referees, media partners, and an open terrace for VIP guests with panoramic views of the field and track. AVSH also improves the spectator experience by putting in large umbrellas to protect them from the elements.

The professionally managed Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub has long been envisioned as the best training facility for amateur and professional athletes, as well as the ideal location for national and international sporting events in the Philippines.

Ayala Corp. sponsors athletes such as two-time Olympic swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi, gold-medal archer Andrea Robles, youngest nationally ranked karateka Prince Alejo, world-ranked archer and SEAG medalist Pia Bidaure, world-ranked archer Abby Bidaure, Philippines' top foil fencer Nat Perez, world-ranked fencer Noel Jose, and Filipino Olympian pole vaulter EJ Obiena, who is currently ranked second in the world.

Vermosa has extended its facilities to young athletes from Takbo Kabitenyo, a non-profit group for Cavite runners who hope to be national athletes one day.

National Sports Associations such as the Triathlon Association of the Philippines, the Philippine Rugby Football Union, and the Philippine Athletic and Track and Field Association practice regularly in the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub (AVSH). AVSH is also open to the general public and charges a fee for use. To book a training session, please call 09674055782.
