UnionDigital Bank Celebrates Two Years of Nation-Building Through Financial Inclusion and Community Support

UnionDigital Bank, the digital banking division of Union Bank of the Philippines, is showcasing its dedication to financial inclusion and community support as it marks its second anniversary by making contributions to nation-building. UnionDigital was founded with the goal of helping the underprivileged by giving financial opportunities to people who have historically been shut out of the banking system.

UnionDigital launched its UD Cares program at San Pedro Elementary School in Laguna this year to celebrate its anniversary. This marked the start of a comprehensive community engagement strategy that includes livelihood, health, and education. 

As part of its commitment to San Pedro Elementary School's Brigada Eskwela program, UnionDigital has been actively involved in classroom painting and has donated school supplies and paint in advance of the 2024 school year. These initiatives demonstrate its unwavering commitment to education as the basis for sustainable development.

In keeping with its objective, UnionDigital has been able to assist people who were having trouble obtaining loans through conventional banking channels. These extra cash have assisted these clients in paying for much-needed home repairs, handling unforeseen emergencies, and investing in their family's future by using the loan for schooling.
