Project Eight Initiative Team at League of Corporate Foundations Expo 2024



The Project Eight Initiative team made a prominent showing at the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) Expo 2024, which took place on July 4, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. This year's exhibition, entitled "Reimagining A New and Inclusive Future," presented a wonderful opportunity for groups focused on social responsibility and sustainable development to network and collaborate.

The Project Eight Initiative team included Volunteerism Lead Michelle "Mitch" Velitario, Edwin "Daddy Ed" Coquilla for Environment Preservation, Vhincel Donn "Vhince" Polinag for Youth Leadership and ALS, Loreta "Lorence" Caburnay for Fashion For A Cause, Geeian "Ghie" Gambala for Mental Health, Mary Cyril "Ashley" Lara for Motherhood, and Rene "Rhen" Dimaano for Agriculture. Their presence emphasized the initiative's dedication to diverse and effective community-focused activities.

Throughout the event, the crew went about, engaging with leading companies known for their strong social responsibility practices. This contact resulted in new connections and potential collaborations that could help them achieve their aim of bringing positive change to a variety of areas.




A major highlight for the team was meeting Mr. Sebastian C. Quiniones, Jr., Chairperson of the League of Corporate Foundations and Executive Director of the Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. In a photo with the team, Mr. Quiniones gave useful thoughts and recommendations while wishing The Project Eight Initiative success in their undertakings. He also expressed confidence that the effort will soon join the League of Corporate Foundations.
