Acer introduced the SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo camera, the latest addition to its SpatialLabs 3D product line. Photographers can use the compact 3D camera to capture stunning, stereoscopic images and view them in immersive 3D because it is fully integrated with the SpatialLabs product line.
Modern Design, Intuitive Point and Shoot Anywhere and Everywhere
With 8 megapixels per eye resolution, a built-in selfie mirror, and a weatherproof exterior, the pocket-sized Acer SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera is an excellent companion for capturing moments outdoors and on adventures. Its simple setup improves shooting experiences by utilizing carefully calibrated lens alignment and an advanced optical system to capture subjects with greater 3D depth and detail.
SpatialLabs Eyes features auto and touch focus for easy image capture, as well as Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for smooth and steady footage. More experienced photographers will appreciate the manual mode option, which allows them to calibrate the ISO, white balance, and shutter speed settings for greater control over image output.

The SpatialLabs 3D Camera is capable of more than just capturing stunning 3D images and videos. The new Acer SpatialLabs Player 3.0 allows users to share their 3D content live on YouTube and other streaming platforms. Video chatting will be available in Q3 via the SpatialLabs video call widget, allowing for more engaging, high-resolution 3D video conferencing on apps such as Teams (1080p), Zoom (720p), and Google Meet (1080p), with customizable depth features to add more layers of realism during calls.
Whether users are reviewing content on Acer SpatialLabs laptops or displays, VR/AR headsets, or even 3D projectors, the SpatialLabs Eyes helps them present the richness and impact of their 3D content exactly as intended. The camera also includes a downloadable gallery feature, allowing users to review their 3D portfolio and relive their immersive 3D journey.
New Range of Developer Tools for 3D Content and Applications
Acer has also announced a broader range of developer tools, such as the SpatialLabs Unreal 5.3 and Unity 2021.3 LTS and 2022.3 LTS plugins. These will be available to 3D creators beginning in June.
Additionally, the new SpatialLabs Model Viewer Pro application, which is fully compatible with SpatialLabs Pro devices, is scheduled to be released. The application is intended to improve the 3D content workflow and user experiences by incorporating new features tailored for commercial use.
The new presentation mode, combined with its support for major 3D file formats and enhanced glTF support, allows developers to inspect, customize, and showcase a catalog of models in sequence for viewing and customizations without having to create projects from scratch. The application allows users to add a virtual turntable, overlays with their preferred logos and backgrounds, and HDRI customizations.
