Century Tuna Superbods champion the #BestYouEver initiative at Superbods Underpants Run in Subic

The 36 Century Tuna Superbods finalists, dressed in a variety of costumes ranging from superheroes to tuna cans, demonstrated their stunning physiques, unbreakable spirit, and ingenuity as they sprinted the 5KM run during the recent Century Tuna Superbods Underpants Run at the Subic Bay Boardwalk.

The 2024 Century Tuna Superbods Underpants Run provided an opportunity for the Century Tuna Superbods to promote the #BestYouEver campaign by celebrating health and fitness and inspiring others to become better versions of themselves.

Usually held before IRONMAN races, the Century Tuna Superbods Underpants Run kicked off this year's Century Tuna Full IRONMAN Philippines in Subic Bay on June 7, 2024. 

More than 500 runners took part in the run, dressed in colorful and creative outfits, including this year's Century Tuna Superbods finalists, executives from Century Pacific Food Inc., Century Tuna Superbod 2014 Grand Winner Mauro Lumba, Century Tuna Superbod 2022 Grand Winner Kirk Bondad, and Century Tuna Guest Superbod Atty. Olivier Moeller.

Patrick Patawaran, a Century Tuna Superbods 2024 finalist, won Best Costume during the run when he appeared in his Century Tuna can costume.

Century Tuna's #BestYouEver campaign emphasized the finalists' personal growth and environmental stewardship. Prior to the run, Century Tuna organized a Saving Our Seas coastal clean-up in collaboration with SBMA, during which participants collected 32 sacks of plastic waste from Subic Bay's coastline. This also prepares for the IRONMAN competition's swimming stage.

The Century Tuna Superbods 2024 launch the #BestYouEver campaign, highlighting the Superbods' incredible journeys to promote the best versions of themselves and inspire others. Prior to the Century Tuna Superbods Underpants Run, the finalists participated in several onsite and online challenges, including the Century Tuna Metcon Battleground, NCC Marathon, and HOKA Trilogy Run. 

The #BestYouEver Finals night will take place on July 9, when the Century Tuna Superbods 2024 Male and Female Grand Winners will be announced. The Grand Winners will each receive a cash prize of PHP500,000 tax-free, while the runners-up will receive PHP200,000 tax-free.
