Acer unveiled new smart monitors for home entertainment, work, and gaming

Acer today unveiled a new line of versatile smart monitors designed to provide tailored experiences for a variety of consumer needs and lifestyles. The Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series monitors are available in 31.5- and 27-inch space-saving models to fit into any home setup and can serve as an entertainment hub for streaming content, an extended workstation for everyday tasks, and a dependable gaming companion with a fast refresh rate. The monitors also have a slew of smart features, such as wireless projection, Multiview, and more.

High-definition Resolution for Smooth Frames and Vivid Details
The new Acer DA271K and DA321QK LED monitors have 4K UHD resolution, while the Nitro GA271U P and Nitro GA321QU P have WQHD resolution and up to a 180 Hz refresh rate, resulting in smooth scenes and excellent in-game experiences. With HDR10 and 250 nits brightness, the display recreates images and colors for a more immersive and realistic experience. It also supports AMD FreeSync™ and NVIDIA® G-SYNC®, reducing screen tearing while playing or watching videos. Ultra-low latency also provides quick response times to help reduce input lag, ensuring that fast-paced action and content appear smoothly and without blurring.

Convenience, Productivity and Personalized Features
All four monitors include features designed to increase productivity, versatility, and entertainment options. Google TV aggregates movies, shows, and other content from various apps and subscriptions, allowing users to access popular apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, and YouTube from a single screen. Google Cast™ allows you to cast movies, shows, photos, and more from your phone or tablet directly to your monitors. Wireless projection and screen mirroring technology eliminates the need for cables to extend displays. The Bluetooth connection capability further supports the movement to declutter wires by making it simple to connect these monitors to other devices such as speakers and peripherals. As IoT products, they can connect to Wi-Fi networks and seamlessly integrate into the smart device ecosystem around them.

The Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 smart series monitors also have a Multiview function that splits the screens into different sections, which improves their usability. This is useful for those who are constantly multitasking because users can view and interact with content from multiple sources while controlling them directly from the displays. Users can connect external webcams for video calling and streaming, allowing live streamers to select their preferred platform and upload videos directly from the monitors. Their ergonomically designed stand allows for easy adjustment to the optimal viewing position and can be VESA wall-mounted to free up desk space in home setups.
