SM Bulacan Malls Celebrate National Flag Day

1.      The SM City Marilao security force led the entrance of colors during the celebration of National Flag Day at the Event Center.

SM malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and Pulilan join the nation in the observance of the National Flag Day on May 28.

1.      In observance of the National Flag Day, mall employees, partner agencies, affiliates, and tenants took part in a flag-raising ceremony at the open grounds of SM Center Pulilan.

1.      SM City Baliwag mall employees, partner agencies, affiliates, and tenants participated in the singing of the Philippine National Anthem in line with the observance of National Flag Day.

To commemorate the significant event, a flag-raising ceremony with a spotless Philippine flag was held at SM Bulacan malls in an effort to instill patriotism in mall staff, partner agencies, affiliates and tenants.

National Flag Day marks the inaugural unfurling of the Philippine flag on May 28, 1898, at the historic "Battle of Alapan" in Kawit, Cavite.

1.      SM City Marilao mall employees, partner agencies, affiliates, and tenants wave Philippine flags in unison in line with the celebration of National Flag Day.

The National Flag Day also announces the activities planned for the Independence Day celebration on June 12. Aside from the brilliant display of the Philippine flag's symbolic colors across the mall, SM malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and Pulilan will host activities promoting Filipino-made products, such as the Super Pinoy Food Trip and Super Pinoy Market featuring local MSMEs.
