A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was recently signed by the Jollibee Group and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to support the Buhay Ingatan, Droga'y Ayawan (BIDA) program, which is an expanded and more comprehensive campaign against illegal drugs.

The BIDA program is DILG's medium to long haul approach in the public mission against unlawful medications, and spotlights on avoidance and wellbeing advancement, policing, well as penology, recovery, and reintegration. Partner national government agencies, law enforcement agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector have been urged by the DILG to actively support the campaign to reduce drug supply and demand.

Under the MOU, the Jollibee Gathering, alongside other privately owned businesses and associations, will assist with supporting the execution of a medication free work environment inside the BIDA program structure.

A joyful, drug-free workplace

Drug testing, screening, and rehabilitation are covered by the Drug-Free Workplace Policy that is in place at the Jollibee Group. Employees are not charged for the drug testing, which complies with Department of Labor Department Order No. 53, s. 2003 or the Rules for the Execution of a Medication Free Working environment Strategies and Projects for the Confidential Area. This guarantees a sound labor force that gives cheerful encounters to customers in a medication free store.
