EdgePoint Infrastructure ("EdgePoint"), a top ASEAN-based independent telecommunications infrastructure provider, has announced its most recent expansion in the nation through a new alliance with Globe Telecom, Inc. (Globe), a major provider of digital solutions in the Philippines.
By adding both tower and co-location sites, the cooperation will see the two leading companies in the sector working to improve the nation's telecommunications sector. Globe's partner towerco for colocation and build-to-suit is EdgePoint.

EdgePoint first entered the Philippines market in April 2022, when they acquired 2,934 towers from the PLDT Group. Currently, EdgePoint Philippines operates 2,557 active sites across the Luzon Islands, with the total number targeted to be closed by mid of 2023. The Group currently owns and manages a total of 14,000 towers across Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
