Mackerel Sotanghon
Lets face it not everyone eats canned goods specially sardines not until i tasted Uni-Pak Mackerel.... WOW iba ang sarap ng mackerel hindi basta nakasanayan the best na yan.
Mackerel Sotanghon
Ingredients:
- 1 can of 425g Uni-Pk Mackerel in Natural Oil, drained (set aside the broth). Cut the mackerel into chunks or flakes (as desired).
- 100g sotanghon noodles
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. onion, minced
- 2 whole tomatoes, cut into cubes
- 2 cups of water
- Pepper and salt to taste
Procedure:
- Saute garlic, onion, tomatoes in oil. Add mackerel.
- Pour the mackerel broth and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add sotanghon noodles, cook for a minute.
- Add pepper and salt and simmer for another minute.
~ Perfect while its hot with rice.
