It was such a sunny and perfect day of September 3, 2016, for the Bloggers Appreciation Tour of PAMPANGA. It was an opportunity to see Pampanga from a new perspective, such as land development from the beautiful build houses from Northpine Land Montana Views, culture which is one of the culinary capital of the Philippines.
As we had the tour around and enjoyed some of the places we visited, I realized that The Kapampangans have done a serious job in preserving their cultural identity as a people.
Pretty sights and radiant places filled with opportunities with a thriving economy, home of the famous cooks, with stunning views undiscovered. In line with properties away from the polluted Metro Pampanga has a lot to offer that is waiting to be shown to people from Manila. I had discovered different establishments such as malls, amusement parks and businesses, lifestyle and real estate. And since it is my first time to roam around Pampanga I was amazed by the discoveries I witnessed, i only knew Pampanga as a place where most of Mayon Volcano had hit the most when it erupted other than that nothing else aside from of course known restaurants in the Metro where most of the chief and restaurants originated from.

The museum has nine galleries focusing on the history of the mansion from its construction in 1890; various Philippine textiles, accessories, and weaving tools; and Filipino clothing styles. The museum also has a music room, where visitors can listen to songs recorded as early as 1896, as well as an e-learning room.
The iconic mansion has become a witness to many historical events. Built during the 1880s by Don Florentino Torres Pamintuan and Valentina Torres, it was a wedding blessing to their child Florentino, who later became the mayor of Angeles under the American rule.
The Philippines' battle against the United States' administration, General Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the republic, briefly moved the seat of government from Kawit,Cavite to Pampanga, making the mansion his headquarters.
The historic house changed its ownership several times since 1899. In June 12, 1899, Aguinaldo also led the celebration of the first anniversary of Philippine Independence and waved the Philippine flag from the second-floor balcony of the mansion. The building likewise served as the town's municipal hall. Later, the property was procured by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

Honored as National Artist in Painting in 1981, Vicente S. Manansala is considered the country’s pioneer in Cubism. He was one of the Thirteen Moderns led by Victorio C. Edades, and was one of the Big Three in the modernist movement, along with Cesar Legaspi and H. R. Ocampo. In addition, he formed the group of Neo-Realists together with Romeo Tabuena and Anita Magsaysay-Ho.

I will never forget this event (one of the best bloggers out of town event) because simply it is such a #Winner from the staff in which they're very accommodating and friendly. It was one of those events i can keep on sharing and telling to my family and friends over and over because it was all almost perfect (for me ha) it was relaxing i had my own seating area i mean space hehehe.
It was also my first time to travel with other co-bloggers that i haven't personally meet yet just through facebook. And oen of the reasons why it took me so long to finish this blog is because sometimes the best ones are really hard to just write easily because when i was writing this i re-imagine everything plus it was my first tiem to explore Pampanga as a City.
Looking forward of going to different places again with the same team of PR and of course bloggers. Kudos to everyone!

PAMINTUAN MANSION
Museo ng Kasaysayang Panlipunan ng Pilipinas
The 125-year-old Pamintuan Mansion in Miranda Street, Barangay Sto. Rosario will be host to hundreds of people on August 25 as it will then be inaugurated as the Museum of Philippine Social History.
The museum aims to show the wealth and diversity of Filipino culture and the many influences, both local and foreign, as a result of successive colonial experiences. Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan stated that this is a dream come true for all Angeleños, as the museum highlights the citizens’ appreciation of local heritage, history and culture.
The National Historical Commission of the Philippines allotted P22- million for the restoration and curatorial work of the museum which was the site of the first and only public Independence Day celebration under the administration of former President Emilio Aguinaldo on June 12, 1899 and served as a former branch of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

We had the privileged to go to the top area or rooftop of the Mansion, but we were told that it is an off limit area. I was amazed and realized the reason why it is off limits to the public because on top of the mansion is a scenic view of the town itself you see everything within the reach of your eye and i wonder how wonderful it is to see the sunset on the top....

Manansala was born in Macabebe, Pampanga on January 22, 1910. He was the second of the eight children of Perfecto Q. Manansala and Engracia Silva. At the age of 15, he studied under painter Ramon Peralta while doing work painting movie posters at a shop in Manila. He entered the University of the Philippines School of Fine Arts in 1926 and graduated in 1930.
He continued his studies under a UNESCO grant at the École de Beaux Arts in Banff and Montreal, Canada in 1949, and under a French government scholarship at the École de Beaux Arts in Paris in 1950. His training did not end there. In 1960, he received a grant from the United States to study stained glass techniques in New York. He also trained at the Otis Art Institute in 1967, and received another grant in 1970, this time from Germany, to study in Zurich.
> Manansala developed transparent cubism and his works were done mostly in the figurative mode, reflecting the society and the local environment. He favored the styles of Picasso and Cezanne, and believed that the true beauty of art lay in the process of creating it.
Manansala worked as an illustrator for the Philippines Herald and Liwayway and as a layout artist for Photonews and Saturday Evening News Magazine in the 1930’s. He held his first one-man show at the Manila Hotel in 1951, and then went on to work as a professor at the University of Santo Tomas School of Fine Arts from 1951 to 1958.
At the Pinatubo Museum, one will learn the woes brought by the Pinatubo tragedy. Admire the courage of Kapampangan as shown in one of the world's strongest disasters to date through artworks and other memorabilia.
The first-ever museum commemorating the eruption of Mount Pinatubo will be inaugurated on June 14 on the eve of the 25th anniversary of its cataclysmic eruption.
