Growing lnLife: Native Tree Growing Project

Growing Life: The Native Tree Growing Project. The Insular Foundation, in collaboration with the One to Tree Program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI), handed over a three-year (2022-2024) tree-growing project to the community of Barangay Tabili in Catmon, Cebu. 10,000 native tree seedlings were planted in Catmon, Cebu, as part of the “Growing lnLife: Native Tree Growing Project.” The project reported an 87% survival rate for native trees.  This green initiative aims to restore lost tree cover while also increasing partner farmers' incomes. As program implementer, RAFI OTT will work with communities to protect and rehabilitate the environment by establishing native tree nurseries and plantations.
