New Predator League Champs Crowned at the Predator League 2025 Philippines Finals

Predator Gaming brought together the best local Dota 2 and VALORANT teams in Cebu, illuminating the Queen City of the South with explosive, world-class esports action. The crowds were packed at Robinsons Galleria Cebu for the Predator League 2025 Philippine Finals, as fans and passers-by witnessed esports greatness.

Grassroots Endeavor from the Start
Predator League is always looking for new talent in the local esports scene. Four regional qualifying bouts were held throughout the archipelago to provide more opportunities for players to demonstrate their abilities and be exposed to high-level play.

The Predator League 2025 Philippine Finals bring together the best local Dota 2 and VALORANT teams to compete for the lion's share of the coveted PHP 1,000,000 total prize pool. The Dota 2 and VALORANT champions received PHP 250,000 each and a spot in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals.

Dota 2 Highlights
The Dota 2 Grand Finals pitted Execration, a long-standing squad, against the newer team Ivory. It was an exciting match-up from the start, with in-form mid laners Execration's Charles "Lewis" Santos and Ivory's Argle "Ken" Llesis facing off. While Ivory brought their A-game, Execration's tried and true experience triumphed. Lewis was his usual dominant self, but carry player Denz "Denzsanity" Anedez also performed admirably, averaging 7.5 kills and 10.5 assists throughout the series.

VALORANT Highlights
It was a memorable moment in the Philippines' collegiate esports scene when DLSU VALORANT Esports, the UAAP's VALORANT champions, received a direct invite to the tournament. Despite having less competitive LAN experience, the team proved to everyone that they have what it takes to compete with the best by making it all the way to the finals of this pro player-laden tournament. DLSU proved they could compete with VALORANT team staple ZOL Esports in the Grand Finals. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be for Taft's Xavier "Xavi8k" Juan-led squad, as ZOL Esports easily defeated them 2-0 thanks to the constant heroics and clutch prowess of ZOL Esports controller Patrick "PatMen" Mendoza. Xavi8k played for Oasis Gaming when they defeated. Xavi8k competed for Oasis Gaming in the Predator League 2024 Philippine Finals, where they defeated ZOL Esports. It came full circle for ZOL, making this year's victory even sweeter.

Tickets Booked for Kuala Lumpur
Execration, Ivory, and ZOL Esports have secured their places in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Team Secret will join them in representing the Philippines against the region's best teams early next year.
