The City of Firsts is once again pulling out all the stops to make Grandparents' Day more enjoyable for lolo, lola, and the entire family! This weekend, Araneta City turns back the clock to recreate the unforgettable '70s vibe and get everyone feeling groovy and happy. 

For this year's Grandparents' Day celebration on September 8, Araneta City has planned a series of exciting activities to honor some of the most important figures in our family while also promoting the joy of spending time with those we care about the most. 

Avail fab healthy treats at Farmers Plaza

Farmers Plaza is ideal for treating our grandparents to a day of pampering and improving their health. On September 8, Araneta City will hold a Grand Health Day, offering free medical services such as blood pressure checks and consultations to ensure our beloved grandparents' health and well-being.

Granny will also receive a special treat on this day! With a minimum purchase of P500 at any Araneta City store, our grandmothers can participate in the Granny Makeover and receive free services from our participating outlets.

Show off strategic skills at Gateway Mall

On September 8, lolo and other family members can demonstrate their chess skills at the Grand Chess Day competition at Gateway Mall. Participation in the game requires a minimum purchase of ₱500 at any Araneta City store. 

Shake it, groove it at Gateway Mall 2

Get down at the '70s Groove Dancing Event! Starting at 10 a.m. on September 8, everyone is invited to groove at the Quantum Skyview to different sets of music every hour. Come dressed in your best retro costumes; the participants with the best outfits will win movie tickets.

In the evening, Gateway Mall 2 will keep the party going with Busker Performances at The Lagoon. Grandparents and families can enjoy soulful music and even end the night dancing with a groovy instructor while eating dinner and reliving the golden era of the 1970s.

Create good vibes at Ali Mall

Ali Mall will host the Paint-A-S.I.L.Y.A. event as a sweet bonding opportunity. The event takes place on September 8. Grandparents and grandchildren will collaborate to paint colorful rocking chairs and celebrate their relationship.

Visitors can capture the precious day and make it more memorable by taking a picture at the photo booth and leaving love notes on the mall's dedication wall.
