State-of-the-Art Security
GCash FutureCast 2024 began with the introduction of Online PaySafe, an added security feature when adding to cart that allows for worry-free online transactions. Using this feature, customers are directed to the GCash app during the payment process to complete their transaction with multi-factor authentication. This improves security by reducing open windows and tabs, which expose user accounts to potential takeovers, payment scam links, and website spoofing.





Gigi makes it easier to get help. Gigi, powered by generative AI, can now seamlessly handle common queries and escalate complex issues. Gigi can also run security checks, view previous conversations, and connect users to live agents as needed.




To combat online fraud, GCash, in collaboration with Chubb, launched Send Money Protect. Users can now insure up to PHP 15,000 of their transactions for 30 days for as little as PHP 30. This includes transactions from potential scammers who impersonate someone they know or disguise themselves as a legitimate store.


Design Innovations
GCash also released three new app designs to provide a more intuitive experience. Dashboard 3.0 has a new look and easy navigation, allowing customers to access their favorite GCash products at a glance. The app's new save, borrow, and grow tabs allow users to view their most frequently used features.

On Sunday, June 30, more than 2,500 people and 300 dogs of various breeds participated in the third edition of The Green Run, an annual multi-category run held inside Vermosa, AyalaLand's 700-hectare modern suburban estate in Imus, Cavite.

The unprecedented turnout for this running event, which offered a variety of distances to suit fitness levels and running goals, reflected the continued popularity of running and the desire to participate in meaningful advocacy for a greener, brighter future.







Fun runners, fitness enthusiasts and aspiring marathoners joined elite athletes on the tracks, lacing up for 21K, 10K, 5K, and 3K distances, while fur parents bonded on the trail with their ShihTzus, Poodles, Jack Russels, Huskies, Retrievers, and Aspins in the crowd favorite, the 1.4K Dog Run.








Aside from Takbo Kabitenyo, the Green Run continued to support the Haribon Foundation this year and added Pawssion Project as a beneficiary to also advocate for animal welfare.

Cafes can be a great place for people who want to unwind while eating sweets. Cream-O's first pop-up event, the Cream-O Me Time Cafe, aimed to provide people with all of these experiences.

The cookie brand's cozy pop-up café, which was stationed at the Greenfield District Weekend Market from June 22 to 23, delighted guests with delicious treats and fun activities. It was an immersive environment in which visitors could relax in between errands while eating various Cream-O treats. They also praised the pop-up cafe's cozy atmosphere, which included relaxing music, insightful e-books, and exciting games.

Cafe memories
Many people use social media as a personal journal, so Cream-Oholics were encouraged to pose with their Cream-O while sampling a variety of cookies, cakes, and drinks. Those who posted on social media received a free Cream-O pack that they could take home. There was also a Freedom Wall where they could spread positivity and share their best self-care tips with other cafe patrons.


A variety of solo and group games
The Cream-O Cafe's Great Taste Memory Game put visitors' cognitive abilities to the test. They were given ten attempts to match three consecutive logos within one minute. The prize included additional snacks such as Cream-O Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cream-O Brownies, and a twin pack of Great Taste Cream-O coffee.

Cream-Oholics were also free to play a variety of board games while enjoying Cream-O snacks and beverages. They chose between traditional games like chess and checkers and popular group games. This redefined bonding over board games.


Cozy time with books and music
A cafe is not complete without a place to read books and a relaxing playlist. The Cream-O Me Time Cafe provided a cozy environment for bookworms to download and read public domain e-books from the Cream-O Library while enjoying delectable Cream-O cookies and coffee. The Cream-Oholics Playlist rounded out the experience by curating visitors' favorite songs to listen to while relaxing.

Overall, the Cream-O Me-Time Cafe provided many people with a place to unwind after a busy week. It not only made them feel relaxed, but it also provided "choco happiness" to Cream-Oholics seeking a cozy atmosphere with delectable snacks.
