The Philippines' first Panda Express drive-thru opens: In addition, the Sumulong Highway location celebrates its 100th international store

Panda Express® opens first drive-thru branch in the Philippines. The Sumulong Highway branch also marks its 100th international store. Even when you're traveling, get ready to savor mouthwatering American Chinese cuisine. Panda Express®, the largest American Chinese dining concept in the world, finally opened its first drive-thru restaurant in Asia with the opening of its Sumulong Highway location. The most recent establishment is also the 100th international restaurant, and it is located in Marikina City at the intersection of Toyota Avenue and Sumulong Highway.

In order to bring the well-known restaurant brand from the United States to the Philippines, Jollibee Group and Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. (PRG) established JBPX Foods, Inc. in 2019. In response to guests' demand for savory Panda Express dishes, JBPX Foods, Inc. plans to open additional stores across the country, including the most recent location.

Panda Express continues to offer a selection of Chinese-inspired entrees, including the most well-known The Original Orange Chicken®, a crispy chicken covered in a sweet and tangy sauce and wok-tossed; and Honey Walnut Shrimp, a mouthwatering dish made with crispy, high-quality shrimp that is cooked in a wok in a honey sauce before being topped with glazed walnuts.

There was a long line of cars waiting to order their favorite Panda Express items as soon as the drive-thru opened. The first 100 drive-thru customers received a special Panda Bear, and those who ordered at least P500 received a free pail of Medium Orange Chicken.

Additionally, dine-in customers had to stand in line as early as 8 a.m. to try their favorite Panda Express dishes. As a special treat, Marian Amurao and Bryle Lukban, who were the 100th dine-in customers, received a pail of Giant Orange Chicken.
