The Jollibee Group partnered with the Quezon City Local Government to have its economic frontlinersvaccinated against COVID-19 through the QC Bakuna Nights initiative. |
The Jollibee Group recently partnered with the Local Government of Quezon City to provide free COVID-19 vaccines for almost 200 economic frontliners from its restaurants including Jollibee, Greenwich, Chowking, Burger King, Red Ribbon, and Panda Express. The inoculation is part of Quezon City’s “Bakuna Nights” initiative which seeks to encourage more vaccinations by accommodating workers at night from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
This June, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved the deployment of vaccines to people under the A4 prioritygroup, which includes workers in fast food establishments and other private sector employees who are required to work outside their places of residence.
The Jollibee Group is also partnering with other local government units to help vaccinate more members of its store teams, as well as to optimize the available supply of vaccines in the country.
The company is also ready to roll out its own Vaccination Program for its employees inthe Philippines, as well as employees’ dependents and extended family and household members. It has also extended the vaccine sourcing for employees of its partner employers and franchisees. The Jollibee Group’s vaccination program will cover team's from Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, Burger King, Red Ribbon, PandaExpress, PHO24, commissaries, distribution centers, support functions, and the JollibeeGroup Foundation.
