It was raining so hard that evening of June 28, 2019, and as they say when it rains it pours indeed because it was just perfect for a flower to bloom amidst heavy rain. Miss Philippines Earth (MPE) sponsor, Connext Holdings recently presented the Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Beach Wear Competition at Matrix Creations Events Venue still following this year’s theme, Blossoms of the Earth

Each candidate presented themselves wearing their summer-themed dresses with their swimsuits underneath that made the audience feel warm and sunny despite the bad weather. But these girls are not all beauty, they all are surprisingly driven to promote their advocacies in helping protect and preserve the environment. The presenter of the event, Connext Holdings is also an advocate of sustainable business practice and reaching out to provide insurance to every Filipino.

Out of 40 blossom delegates who showed off their Beach Wear only one beauty queen standout for the Beach Wear and she's from Tacloban Miss Chelsea Fernandez blossomed and won Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Beach Wear Competition in the ongoing Miss Philippines Earth pageant, organized by Connext Holdings, held at the Matrix Creations in Quezon City. She's one of the early front-runners for the environment-driven pageant, which will hold its finals at Okada Manila on July 10 at 3 p.m.

Miss Chelsea Fernandez also received several recognitions such as:

• The darling of the Press, silver
• Long Gown, gold
• Catwalk Challenge, silver

Connext Holdings Top Ten (10) candidates that best represent their advocacy and awarded each as a Connext Advocate. The winners were:

Miss Connext 2019 will be chosen from this top ten (10) list and will be announced on the coronation night of the Miss Philippines Earth 2019.

• Online reach - 50%
• Advocacy that upholds the value and philosophy of Connext Insurance Agency - 30%
• Beauty that will represent the Connext Insurance Agency - 20%

*Voting will end until July 9, 2019, a day before the Coronation night.
