It was Saturday night of January 9, 2016 at Forbes Park, Makati when the first Bloggers Night with Tito Boboy Syjuco was held.
PURPOSE
Augusto L. Syjuco Jr., popularly known as "Tito Boboy" is a candidate for the May 2016 presidential elections. He is a former Representative of the 2nd District of Iloilo, and Director General of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). One of his advocates at present is to improve our internet connection which is considered one of the slowest in the world.
On the event Tito Boboy had exchange ideas with us bloggers. Since a blogger's job depends largely on internet connection, we had shared and asked him inputs about the importance of a faster and better Wi-Fi signal, and the possible solutions to improve it from its current poor speed. Base from His curriculum vitae Tito Boboy Syjuco should be included in the Comelec's official list of presidential candidates in the coming May 16 elections, and be given the chance to let the Filipinos know about his platform of government.
Philippines is the number 1 Business Process Outsourcing Internet Services provided in the world, despite lost opportunities of $45 billion that would also have increased our 1.3 billion employees by an additional 1.04 billion employees to 2.34 billion.
We succeeded despite having 1 of the notoriously SLOWEST broadband speed in Asia at 3.6 megabits per second, compared say to Singapore's 69.69 mbps, which is 19 times faster than we are.
"I will ensure that we will have the fiber optic INTERNET PHILIPPINES BACKBONE in 2017 that will be the fastest Internet speed in the world." As part of Tito Boboy Syjuco's advocacy
